The Resource Lists

Who has the time or energy to sift through Google? Not me!

When I was deep in baby mode, the last thing I wanted to do was spend my time looking for reputable websites. There's a crazy amount of info available on the internet, from friends & family, and social media!

How can you trust the information you find? Which info is evidence-based? Which organizations and writers are looking out for your baby and family’s best interest and not just wanting to put money in their pocket?

I got your back. I've put all my best resources in one place. How do I choose my resources? Lots of time and research and recommendations from colleagues. I've been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for a decade and was a high risk labor and delivery nurse for a decade before that!

When I find a new resource with solid info, I look at their other offerings, who wrote the information, and who’s paying for them to write the info (notice a lack of info from AAP).

My goal is to provide info about what babies and parents need during this vulnerable time in order to promote health and prevent illness. This means info the info I choose is tailored to what we need as humans and what we have been doing for thousands of years.

I’ve organized my favorite resources into 5 different lists, each of which are categorized by topic.

Topics vary from lactation (obviously) to car seat safety, infant development, and safe sleep…to name a few.

That Gaze Tho

Latching wasn't always easy for this mama and Baby T. But because she watched the evidence-based latching videos in the Lactation Preparation course, this mom knew when things weren't quite right and she was able to get latch help from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant ASAP.
